Back in February, the Limitlass team had the exciting opportunity to visit Endura’s headquarters in Livingston. As a leading manufacturer of high-performance cycling apparel and accessories—and our lead partner for 2023—Endura invited us to discuss our event plans and collaborate on a unique project: designing a custom mountain bike jersey for Limitlass!
Behind the scenes at Endura
After coffee and a catch-up with Marketing Executive Lucinda, we were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Endura’s production facilities, where we got to see firsthand how custom jerseys are produced. From initial design to fabric cutting, dyeing, and final stitching, the entire process happens on-site in Livingston. It was fascinating to see how the jerseys are designed and constructed.
Designing the perfect jersey
A highlight of our visit was working with Endura’s Product Designer, Susan, to bring our custom jersey to life. With plenty of ideas in mind, Susan helped us refine and shape them into a design we’re all proud of. We wanted a look that felt fun and bold—something that Limitlass riders would be excited to wear on the trails. We chose not to include a year, venue or anything that would ‘date’ our jerseys ensuring longevity and promoting sustainability. We selected the long-sleeve Endura MT500 Lite Jersey with a women’s fit, offering sizes from XS to 3XL to ensure inclusivity.
Supporting Trail Therapy
As part of our Limitlass legacy, we’ve committed to donating 10% of all jersey sales to Developing Mountain Biking in Scotlands Trail Therapy programme. Trail Therapy combines mountain biking with traditional therapies to support individuals facing mental health challenges.
